Access to Planica restricted

As of 18 February 2023, a new access regime for pedestrians, cross-country skiers and other road traffic will apply towards Planica and the venues of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Planica 2023.

As of 18 February 2023, a new regime for pedestrian access to Planica will come into effect, limited to those with accreditation. The municipal car park at Ledine will be available until 20 February 2023.

From the junction with the cycle track in Rateče, access to Planica will be limited to vehicles with a Planica 2023 Organising Committee pass until 20. 2. 2023. Access for cross-country skiers will also change, as the track will be open up to the bridge over the Nadiža torrent until 20. 2. 2023.
The day after, from 21.2. to 5.3. 2023, access to Planica, from the roundabout in Rateče, will only be allowed for vehicles with a entry permit of the OK Planica 2023. All residents and users of holiday homes in the Ledine (Rateče) area are kindly requested to contact the organisers to obtain their entry permits.

  •     Pedestrian access will not be possible from 18.2.2023 onwards. The municipal car park at Ledine will be available until 20.2.2023.
  •     Until 20.2.2023, access to Planica from the junction with the cycle path in Rateče will only be allowed for vehicles with an OK Planica 2023 pass.
  •     Cross-country ski access will be possible until 20.2.2023 to the bridge over the Nadiža torrent.
  •     From 21.2. to 5.3. 2023, access to Planica from the roundabout in Rateče will only be allowed for vehicles with an OK Planica 2023 pass. All residents and users of holiday homes in the area of Ledine (Rateče) are kindly requested to contact the organiser (planica@sloski.si) for passes.
